Women in India. Are they fearless, free, safe?

Why Dowry?Why rapes?Why illiteracy?Why child marriage?Why Slavery?

India is a country very well known to the world for the rich cultural heritage that is possesses.
Our rituals, culture, diversity and many other extraordinary features make us different from all the other countries in a very special way.Let it be respecting your elders, the feeling of secularism,  the principles of Gandhi, sacrifice of Bhagat Singh ,the science of C.V. Raman , the literature of Rabindranath Tagore the teachings  of Mahabharata and  Ramayana. We have so much be to proud  of and to boast of. We are equally making  progress in almost all the fields. Be it the  science and technology, economy,
sports, media, almost everything. We are one of the strongest rising nations. We have reached the moon, travelled to mars and progressing for deep space exploration. Our achievements in these fields are truly remarkable. Our youth  is doing a remarkable work all across the globe. India has given so many great minds to this world and is still doing that restlessly. Indians have mastered their knowledge in Dharma, Karma, Vedas and the Shastras. With every new day we are bringing change to this country, its people, this world and this nature. It is really a great achievement for us.
But there is a dark side also that has been a burning issue for us and a real tough problem to fight with.We people are still fighting with it and have reached nowhere. It is defeating us every time. The more we want to eliminate it, the more it has started to rise. Our efforts have gone in vain. As we know that when a Diya lights itself, it gives light to all its surroundings but the very portion that lies below and around its base remains in dark. Same is the case with us . We have made so many efforts to develop our country in all fields but the very basic issue is not yet solved.
Yes! I am talking about the condition of women and girls. We all know what is their condition in our country. When ever I open the newspaper every morning, I always see headlines like " girl raped brutally and killed!" , "dowry ended one more life ",etc. etc. . This feels so terrible. It feels as if those girls and women are crying out their pain with each and every word of that headline. What we do in return? Organizing candle march to show our sympathy to the victim and then, as the time passes, those cries and voices get feeble and feeble in our ears. Those faces get faded in our eyes and those memories get vanished. A voice that asked for justice has lost somewhere and no one now remembers it. As a result , one more girl is raped, another bride is killed or she commits suicide just because of bloody dowry issue. And the whole process of candle march and fake
justice begins once again.
A father loses his loving daughter, a mother loses her angel, a brother loses his best secret keeper and a sister loses her shadow. All I can say is that a tree or a plant  is thrashed which was seeded with a hope that it would cherish some day. A plant that was grown up with the water of love, with the sunlight of dedication and infinite efforts. And the family is left with pain ,agony and never ending tears which roll down their cheeks every moment they see the photo of their beautiful
daughter, sister or mother.
I don't know what to say but all that I know is that we are in this world only because these daughters, mothers and sister exist, rather I should say that this whole world is their gift. Without them we are nothing. In fact, we simply won't exist. So all those who make bad things happen to them, please remember that u too have a mother, daughter, sister. If they deserve your respect then these one too! All I want to say is that its our duty to protect the rights and the life of those who are the root cause of our existence in this world. Let's make this place a better place to live for them. Let us give them all that they deserve - education, love, freedom, rights and above all respect!
Respect women!Raise your voice for justice!

The Beginning of a journey.....

Hello friends! I wish you all a very happy new year!May this year be full of joy and success for you all.It is my very first day  and the very first post on blogger.com.Quite excited of the journey ahead.Writing blog was a one of the new year resolutions that i took, and the one that has came into action. Hehehe .....I mean seriously, this is so amazing to share your views and feelings wide out loud with people and develop your writing skills too, simply by tapping your fingers on the keyboard to express yourself. Today's post will closely focus on this only. I think blogging is a really seriousas well as enjoyable stuff . Moreover this gives you full too freedom to express your opinions,  ideas, experiences and many other things in front of the whole world. We all have heard " A pen is mightier than a sword". And yes i believe it is! There can be no other substitution to your ideas , thoughts, and your voice raised . The power and the impact carried in your words is way more than that in a sword. On the other hand, words must also be used carefully and precisely as we know that words, after being spoken cannot be taken back. This  moment of writing and sharing my thoughts on a global platform is really awesome.I wish to learn much from here. Moreover this experience will also help me develop my writing skills and personality too.I think writing is the best way to speak and show yourself without actually speaking.
This should be strictly considered by each and every individual as a daily business  of their life. With the hope of learning at each and every step here with you guys and being inspired to write more and much better every day, I end my today's post here.Good night!  Keep writing :)
